Morro Bay Welcomes Irving Johnson

IRVING JOHNSON's Maiden Voyage Continues >>>
A number of activities are planned by the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce to welcome SS/V Irving Johnson as she continues her maiden voyage to ports along the California Coast.

When and Where
The ship is scheduled to arrive in Morro Bay around 4:00 PM on Friday, May 9, and will be berthed at Marine Square. Public activities are schedule for Saturday and Sunday and include:

ship tours

The public is invited to board the Irving Johnson between 9:00 AM and Noon on Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11, for a first hand look at the world's newest tall ship. Admission is free.

day sails

Come aboard for a unique view of the central California coast! Afternoon sails are available to the public at a cost of $45 for adults and $25 for children under 12 years of age. Day sails will depart from Marine Square at 1:00 PM and return around 4:00 PM. Join us for an experience you'll remember a lifetime!.

RESERVATIONS and ADDITIONAL INFORMATION >>>
Reservations are required
for the Day Sails, as space is limited aboard the ship. Contact the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce at (800) 231-0592 for booking and availability.
Ship Tours do not require reservations.
